The Handmade Card Project aims to give volunteers and service users the opportunity to learn about the art of card making and papercraft as well as developing business skills such as marketing, distribution and selling. 

The selling price indicated on our cards is a suggested donation, you can give more or less if you wish.

Card Making Update ..... Autumn/Winter 2007

Earlier in the year we held training sessions in how to develop a small business including costing, marketing and selling. Aside from that we have been building up a stock of cards and learning skills such as parchment craft, quilling and design . Cardcraft expert John Townley came along on 21st June and trained the group to make very impressive “Star Cards”, and he ran a further training session making Christmas cards to be sold to raise funds for Eden Mind.

We are now looking for places, events and fairs at which we can sell our cards. If you are interested in helping in any way at all with the project, or know of a suitable event, please contact the Eden Mind office on 01768 899002
